The Governing Council of Oke-Ogun Polytechnic- Saki has finally bowed to pressure of the workers unions by appointing new acting management for the institution.
Recall, the Oke-Ogun Poly Chapter of Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) has written a series of petitions against former acting Rector of the institution- Esv. K. O. Ogunmola over alleged excesses, maladministration and poor welfare of staff members.
According to appointment letters signed by the Chairman of the Governing Council – Prof. Adesola Ajayi, Engr. Mikail Babatunde is acting Rector, Mr. Babatunde Lanre Ojo is acting Registrar while Malik Afolabi Abdul-Azeez is acting Bursar
The appointment of the new acting management of the institution takes effect from Friday, January 1st 2021.
Engr. Fasasi was Dean of Faculty of Engineering of the institution before this latest appointment. He holds B.Sc. and M.Sc.in Agricultural Engineering from University of Ilorin.
The new acting Rector is a eegistered engineer and reputable resource personnel for the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
