JUST IN: Police Rescue Freshly Abducted 84 Students in Katsina

Two days after rescuing the 344 students of Government Secondary School in Kankara LGA – Katsina State, 84 students of Islamiyya schools in Mahuta town, Dandume LGA of the state, were on Saturday, abducted by bandits on their way back home after attending maulid procession at Unguwar Al-Kasim in the state.

Spokesman for Katsina state police command, Gambo Isah, while confirming the incident, said the students have been rescued by a combined team of policemen and local vigilante group in the area.

The News Carrier NG reliably gathered that the rescue team engaged the bandits around 3:00am on Sunday
