Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso has emerged fourth-best overall university in Nigeria, as it also retains number one status as best state university in the country.
According to the 2021 National Universities Commission (NUC), LAUTECH comes after the University of Ibadan, Redeemers University and Covenant University.
Titled 2021 ranking of Nigerian Universities, the ranking instituted by the National Universities Commission (NUC), as one of the several drivers of quality improvement of the Nigerian University system was powered by the League of Directors of Academic Planning (LDAPs) of all universities in Nigeria.
It is one of the several projects of Professor Abubakar Adamu Rasheed, the Executive Secretary of NUC and implemented under the auspices of the NUC Strategy Advisory Committee (STRADVCOM).
