Top gladiators of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, on Monday stormed the stakeholders meeting of the party in the state, in readiness for the commencement of the party’s congresses
The impressive turn out of those described as critical stakeholders at the meeting which took place at Lafia Hotel Ibadan, shows that the party is more united than ever before.
In his welcome address, the party’s Caretaker Chairman, Chief Akin Oke, did not mince words in expressing his delight over “the collective resolve of all leaders, chieftains and members of the Oyo APC to work together as one and thus reposition the party for the task of winning future elections in the state.”
In his own speech, former Governor of the state, Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala, appealed for greater commitment and synergy among all stakeholders with a view to making the party stronger”
The APC stakeholders meeting discussed issues relating to the forthcoming part congresses among others.
The meeting enjoined all the stakeholders to sensitize and encourage members and supporters of the party at the grassroots to peacefully participate in the exercise without any rancour or misgivings.
