The Chairman Senate Committee on Local Content and lawmaker representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, Senator Teslim Folarin, on Thursday, visited four empowerment training centres in Oyo and Ogbomoso zones of the district.
The Oyo Central senator’s facilitated empowerment trainings kicked off on Monday 20th September and ends on Friday 24th September 2021.
The trainings for 500 participants drawn from all 11 LGAs of the district include ICT Skill Acquisition as well as Elementary Management Techniques for Cooperators, Sole Traders and Partners.
Participants from Afijio, Atiba, Oyo East and Oyo West LGAs are undergoing their trainings at Omajid Events Center and IPMAN Event Centre.
Participants from Ona-Ara, Oluyole, Lagelu, Egbeda and Akinyele LGAs are receiving their trainings at Jesus The Rock Hall Jegede and ENIF Event Centre and Hotel, Akobo Ibadan, while those from Surulere and Ogo-Oluwa LGAs are converging at Resort Center Igbo Ile and Opete Community Hall, Otamokun respectively.
Joining the three-term senator on a working visit were Chief Adegboyega Adegoke, Alhaji Audu Marafa, Alhaji Shina Alabi, Rt. Hon. Adigun Murphy, Alhaji Musbaudeen Adeleke, Hon. Oke, Alhaji Akeem Olatunji Akogun, Alhaji Kola Amoo, Alhaji Akeem Ila, Hon. Teslim Kunle among others.
