2023 senatorial aspiration of Hon. Kazeem Kolawole Raji received a boost on Thursday as leaders, critical stakeholders and thousands of APC members in Oyo West LGA trouped out to receive the party chieftain.
The leading senatorial aspirant who kicked off his consultative tour of 11 LGAs of Oyo Central Senatorial District on Wednesday, starting from his local government of origin – Oyo East LGA, was received with fanfare at L A Primary School, Idi-Ope, Oyo West Local Government on Thursday.
KK Raji while addressing mammoth crowd of party members, stated that he was not desperate but passionate to serve the party and the good people of Oyo Central Senatorial District. He therefore called on all party leaders and fellow aspirants to maintain high level of mutual respects and concerted unity ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The APC chieftain donated a sum of One Million Naira (N1,000,000.00) to party leaders in Oyo West for the purpose of mobilization of members for INEC continuous voter registration.
According to him, “PVC is the only legal instrument voters need to elect credible leaders. New voters can pre-register on the INEC portal, while those who have registered in the past can access the platform to review their voter registration status.”
KK Raji noted some of the features on the portal allow registered voters to update their personal information or transfer their voter registration to another polling unit.
The Oyo Central Senatorial aspirant stressed that new voters are only required to fill and upload their forms on the portal after entering their biodata and required documents, after which they are expected to visit an INEC state or local government office to provide their fingerprints to complete the registration and obtain their voter’s cards.
