Senator Alli lauds Folarin’s selflessness, transparency in leadership @ 60

Sen. Sharafadeen Alli(APC-Oyo South) has congratulated Sen. Teslim Folarin, the Oyo State APC governorship candidate in the 2023 general elections on his 60th birthday.

This is contained in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas and made available to newsmen in Ibadan.

Folarin, a former Senate Leader and three-term lawmaker from Oyo Central Senatorial District, is the Ikolaba Olubadan of Ibadanland

Alli, the Senate Committee Chairman on INEC, described Folarin as a dedicated public servant, commending his immense contributions to the political growth of Oyo State.

The lawmaker congratulated Folarin on his birthday, describing him as a true statesman and champion of the masses.

Alli, the Maye Balogun of Ibadanland, described Folarin as a man of integrity and a rare gem in the world of politics.

“As a three-term senator, Folarin gave his best to ensure that his constituents enjoy dividends of democracy,” he said.

He said that Folarin attracted several developmental projects to his constituency and the state at large.

“In 2023, Senator Teslim Folarin contested for the Oyo State governorship on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

“Though he was defeated, his passion for serving the people of the state remains undaunted,” he said.

Alli said that Folarin’s leadership style has been characterised by selflessness, dedication, and transparency, earning him the respect as well as admiration of his peers.

The lawmaker said that Folarin has continued to contribute to the party’s growth and development, adding his patriotic zeal has endeared him to many across the state.

He celebrated Folarin on his special day, wishing him many more years of sound health, peace, and prosperity.

Alli prayed that his contributions would continue to positively impact the lives of Nigerians, especially the people of Oyo State.
