In a move to reconcile the camp of former governor Ayo Fayose in Oyo State, South-West zonal Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja on Saturday led an high-powered delegation on a surprise visit to a chieftain of the party, Alhaji Bisi Olopoeyan.
Notable among the delegation included the Zonal Women Leader of the party, Alhaja Bose Adedibu; Special Adviser on Culture and Tourism to Governor Seyi Makinde, Hon. Akeem Ige; the Chairman of Oyo State Sports Council, Hon. Gbenga Arole; former Oyo State Publicity secretary, Alhaji Ismaila Ashipa and among the other party chieftains.
The details of the closed-door meeting are still sketchy as at the time of filing this report.
