Former Oyo State Commissioner for Environment, Barrister Lowo Obisesan has lauded massive turnout of members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the Saturday party local congress held in Southwest Local Government Area of Oyo State
Barrister Obisesan while addressing journalists after the local congress, commended members of the party for their peaceful conduct.
The APC local congresses were held on Saturday, September 4th 2021 simultaneously nationwide.
The legal luminary told the journalists that all the party’s stakeholders in Ibadan Southwest LGA were elated by the hitch free local congress, which was devoid of rancour and violence.
He urge the party’s stakeholders and members to replicate the same comportment at the upcoming state congress.
The Ibadan-born politician cum legal icon while congratuling Arch. Joseph Omoniyi on his emergence as chairman of APC in Ibadan Southwest LGA, noted that Oyo APC has once again proved to the people that it is a very coordinated and united political party to beat in future elections.
He charged all members to remain united more than ever before with a view to defeatig the incumbent party, PDP in 2023 elections.
