Oke-Ogun Community Commends Senator Buhari on Rural Electrification, other Giant Strides in Oyo Oyo North

Residents of Odo Omun Community in Iseyin local government area of Oyo State have commended Senator Buhari Abdulfatai for fulfilling his campaign promise to them by ensuring electrification of the entire community.

The commendations were showered on the legislator following the existence of electricity gotten as a result of donation of 3 million naira for the purpose generating electricity power supply to the area after several years of staying in darkness.

In his appreciation message on behalf of residents, The Chairman of Odo-Omun community, Mr Odeleye Johnson declared that politician like Senator Buhari are very rare while he confirmed that truly the maker is making life worthy of living for his constituents.

Odeleye narrated that it has been years back that the community was disconnected and residents living in darkness as a result of poor Transformer from Barrack Community.

He added that many politicians and philanthropists were contacted for help in order to move out of living in darkness but till the time of writing this report only Distinguished Senator Buhari answered and assisted them with a sum of 3million naira.

“That amount really helped us. It motivated us and it was the major amount committed to the project. We are all happy that today, we now have electricity,” Odeleye said.

He prayed onto God to help to continue to elevate Senator Buhari so that more dividends of democracy can be enjoyed from the God-fearing man.

In his own reaction, a community leader and Ikolaba of Iseyin, Chief Ismail Odubiyi thanked Senator Buhari for putting smiles on the faces of generality of residents of Odo-Omun, Iseyin while he described the lawmaker as a man of his words.

“So far, so good, Senator Buhari had kept his campaign promises to the community and so we are praying for him so that he will continue to prosper in his future endeavor,” Ikolaba said.
