A chieftain of the Alll Progress Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Alhaji Kayode Adanla has advised former Governor of Osun state Chief Bisi Akande to shun divisive tendencies that will further polarise the party in the south west zone of the country.
Alhaji Adanla, a former Financial secretary of the party in Oyo state said this today in Ibadan while reacting to the viral invitation inviting certain leaders of the party to a meeting at the Lagos house Marina tagged Review of state of the Nation.
Describing the meeting as a deliberate means of causing further division within the ranks of the party by a deliberate selfish few, Alhaji Adanla queries the rationale behind the selection of the would be attendees of the meeting if not Politically motivated and divisive.
According to him, the meeting is as good as dead on arrival more so I can tell you categorically that it has nothing to do with the state of the Nation as they claimed. Apart from that how can they justify their claim of wanting to discuss the state of the Nation without anybody representing Oyo state at their so called meeting.
Chief Bisi Akande should be ashamed of himself as the eldest member of the party from the southwest and someone who has been Governor of a whole state before.
Don’t forget this man was deputy Governor during the old Oyo state during Bola Ige’s administration.
Should we call this an oversight or a deliberate action to undermine us in Oyo state?
What can they even discuss about south-west and Nigeria without putting Oyo state in consideration.
This is not their first time and we will let them know we are not push overs in Oyo state.
What qualifies Chief Segun Osoba to be in that meeting that does not qualifies the likes of Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, Sen. Ibikunle Amosun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, a serving Minister of the federation for that matter.
That is to show you that they have hidden agenda which is more of political than National interest.
Without gain-saying, the agenda of that meeting is about Tinubu and his presidential ambition and the question I need to ask Tinubu himself is, can he do without us in Oyo state?
Is he coming to rule over a divised southwest, he should be ashamed of himself for sitting in meeting that has no single representative of Oyo state in it but when it is time for campaign they will pack themselves to flagoff their campaign here in Ibadan.

Since they have chosen to be agents of fraustration to our efforts at having a United A.P.C in Oyo state but they as supposed elders choose to be dealers we will also declare them persona non grata.

The Baba should go and rest, he has done his best for the party.
We are all students of history, we can not forget how they polarized the Afenifere legacy of our great sage chief Obafemi Awolowo through their selfishness and bias ideology against the norm of the Awolowo legacy.
Chief Bisi Akande is well known as Senator Bola Tinubu’s stooge and he will always play the Tinubu script but I want to tell them what they did in 2018, when we had parallel Congresses all over the states including Lagos State to destabilize our great party APC will never happen again and we are all ready to resist their modern day slavery, we will banish them from Ibadan.
Also, Gov’s Kayode Fayemi and Rotimi Akeredolu who all have their roots in Ibadan yet are part of a meeting where Oyo state is being undermined should see this as a warning signal, the two of them can testify to the stuff we are made of in Oyo state, they should stay clear of that meeting if truly that have Ibadan blood in them and they have our interest at heart.
