Prince Oyelude Oladele, the Chairman, National Assembly Progressive Media Aides (NAPMAIDES), says the defection of Distinguished Senator Stella Oduah representing the good people of Anambra North Senatorial District will further boost the chances of the party’s candidate in clinching the 2021 governorship election in Anambra.

Oyelude said this in a statement released to pressmen in Abuja on Friday 27th August, 2021.

He said that Oduah’s defection from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC was a record breaking.

“We all know that Anambra State was a PDP ruling state without a single progressive parliamentarian in both chambers of National Assembly, Sen. Stella Oduah defection has broken the jinx, we are now joyous to record a progressive legislator in a conservative state,” he said.

The chairman who congratulated the Vice Chairman, Senate Appropriation Committee, Distinguished Sen. Stella Oduah for her courageous step which will further reduced the strength of the opposition in the Southeastern states noted that her decision would make it easier to bring more PDP members to APC and boost the APC chances in producing the 2021 governor in Anambra state.

The parliamentary media group Chairman urges Distinguished Sen. Stella Oduah to use her existing strength to bring more conservative souls to the progressive family.

Prince Oyelude Oladele also commended Gov. Buni led Caretaker/Extraordinary
Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), adding that the committee has prove to the world that the APC is for all the six geopolitical zones in Nigeria.

“The APC under Gov. Buni led Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) is building brigdes for members of other parties, their action of resent has prove to the world that the APC is not an anti-Igbo party,” he said.
