The Chairman Senate Committee on Local Content and lawmaker representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, Senator Teslim Folarin mourns the death of Dr. Busari Adebisi, former Secretary to Oyo State Government.
The former chairman of the State Universal Basic Education (SUBEB) died on Thursday, 26th August 2021. He is to be laid to rest on Friday 27th August by 12noon, according to Islamic rite.
The Oyo Central Senator, in a condolence statement released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity – Com. YSO Olaniyi, said he received with shock, the sad news about the death of Dr. Busari Adebisi, saying he “was a very good man, an outstanding personality who had an excellent careers in academic and public service”.
“Chief (Dr.) Busari Adebisi was one of my favourite lecturers in the department of Political Science, University of Ibadan. He immensely contributed to my academic and political knowledge. He was a complete political scientist”.
“Dr. Adebisi was always ready to offer his expertise and vast experience whenever he was called upon to serve. Even at old age, he remained a highly sought after personality volunteering his knowledge in support of any government whenever his services were needed. He gave all his best to the people of Oyo State”.
“My sincere condolences go to his immediate family – the Adebisi Idikan, and the people of Oyo State for this painful loss. We are taking solace in the fact that Baba lived fulfilled academic and political careers”
“May we all be consoled by the knowledge of the exemplary life that Dr. Adebisi lived”.
The three-term senator prayed to Almighty Allah to Grant the late Adebisi Aljana Fridauz.
