Former governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has appealed to his successor to be magnanimous in victory, described his rift with Governor Godwin Obaseki as unfortunate.
Recall, Obaseki left the APC to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) following his rift with his estranged godfather in the build-up to last 2020 governorship election in the state.
The News Carrier NG reported on Friday that Supreme Court dismissed the certificate forgery suit filed against Governor Obaseki by the APC.
Reacting to the apex court judgement, Oshiomhole in a statement he signed on Monday in Benin, urged Governor Obaseki to be magnanimous in victory.
“Congratulations on your victory at the Supreme Court which has effectively laid to rest all matters arising from the last election,” he said.
